PHE Contractors, Inc. has been serving the local Randolph area with service work, remodeling and new construction since 1977. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality work that is done right the first time. Our employees typically wrap up their days by 4PM and aren't bothered by night and weekend phone calls.
Our Team
Our team is the reason we can provide the excellent service and quality we are known for. We are a diverse and highly specialized team of professionals. Our plumbers, electricians and HVAC technicians are cross trained and highly skilled. They enjoy trouble shooting, working together to solve problems and sharing their skill sets with other technicians to help them succeed. Our office staff is professional, thorough and always puts the customer first. Our team is diverse - some have recently joined the trades and others have been in the industry their entire career. We are proud of our team's longevity - more than half of our team has been with us more than 10 years!
Our Culture
PHE Contractors, Inc. is privately owned and operated by Steve & Kris Pickhardt. Private ownership allows us to prioritize our customers and meet their needs without jumping through hoops. It also allows us to be thorough and deliver excellent results without the constraints or roadblocks that corporations can create. We are a small operation where everyone knows one another well and we support each other. Ownership is active in the daily operations. Steve regularly works in the field on service calls and Kris supports operations in the office. Active ownership allows for your voice to be heard in regards to daily workflow, inventory, supplies, etc.!
We prioritize family and we treat our team like family. Are you looking for time off for a family vacation? Is another employee going to be gone the same week? No problem, we grant that request. Is there a scheduling conflict and you need to be somewhere for your family? No problem, we understand and will work with you to make it happen. We enjoy work outings and parties together and invite spouses and children. We trust our team to work independently and we don't micromanage - just like we would do with a trusted family member. We recognize the individual strengths and skills that each member of the team brings to the table.
